10* INTERLEAGUE GAME OF YEAR (MUST PLAY ALERT!)
(MLB) Padres (SDP) vs. Mariners (SEA),
Money Line: -102.00 Mariners (SEA) (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* IL GOY on the Mariners.

Both teams had yesterday off. This one means more to the Mariners, who are now just 3.5 games back of the AL third Wild-card berth after going 4-1 in their last five.

The Padres lead the NL Wild-card race with a two-game lead over third, but they've lost three of their last four.

The visitors go with Yu Darvish (4-3, 3.51 ERA), who lasted just two innings while giving up three runs vs. the Tigers in his first start back since May 29th.

The home side counters with George Kirby (11-10, 3.61), who has won his past two starts, most recently conceding two runs over six frames with no walks and nine K's.

So to summarize, I feel that the public is slow in recognizing how well the Mariners are suddenly playing, and when taking into account the current form of these starters, and then also looking at this really favorable line, I do feel that the stars and the planets have aligned here for SEATTLE to post the comfortable victory.

Good luck, NP
