This is a 10* ACC TOM on the UNDER Cal/Clemson.

These teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but I'm anticipating much more of a defensive battle than what this O/U line is suggesting for this one.

And mainly it just sets up well from a couple of different situational angles to be more of a defensive battle this time around, rather than a run-and-gun high-scoring "shootout."

Cal is a big dog at 7-6 here after back-to-back losses vs. SDSU and at Pitt most recently. The Golden Bears have seen the total go OVER in six of their last seven.

Clemson though has seen the total go OVER in five straight after its most recent 85-71 victory over Stanford. That's signficant for us to note though, as the Tigers have seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last ten when playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

When these teams played in 2022, Clemson won 67-59 and the total snuck OVER the number of 124.5 in that one.

Tonight's total is significantly higher than that, but I'm once again expecting a similar final combined score.
