This is a 10* NON-CONF TOW on the OVER Canucks/Canadiens.
Both of these non-conference opponents have been playing to several lower-scoring contests of late, but I believe the conditions are now correct for a much faster-paced and ultimately higher-scoring affair, making the "over" the correct call as far as the total is concerned.
Montreal is 18-18 after going 4-1 in its last five. It's off a tight 2-1 shootout win at Colorado as a +300 dog. The Habs have seen the total go UNDER in three straight, but note that looking back Montreal has seen the total eclipse the posted number in seven of its last ten after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.
The Canucks are off a 3-0 home loss to Nashville, but note that Vancouver has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 12 off a shutout home loss as a dog.
