This is an 8* PITCHERS DUEL on the UNDER Cubs/Dodgers.
LA is now 11-5 after falling 16-0 here yesterday. Note though that looking back LA has seen the total go UNDER in four of its last five in trying to avenge a shutout home loss as a favorite vs. an opponent.
Tyler Glasnow (1-0, 6.43 ERA) is coming off a no-decision vs. the Phillies, going just two innings and allowing five runs.
The visitors counter with Colin Rea (0-0, 0.00), to make his first start of the season. Rea has made three appearances out of the bullpen this year and now given up a run over 5 1/3's innings of work so far.
These two starters are hungry and with something to prove, and I'm anticipating each to battle into the latter frames.
And as a result, everything points to a lower-scoring UNDER as far as the total is concerned in my opinion.
