This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the UNDER Mariners/Padres.

These two IL teams collide in sunny San Diego on Tuesday night and in my opinion, everything points to a classic "duel" in the opener of this three-game series.

Seattle enters off a 1-2 home series vs. Toronto with the final two contests eclipsing the posted number.

SD was just 1-2 vs. the D-Backs most recently and it's seen the total go OVER in three straight now. That's important for us to take note of here though as the Friars have in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last ten after playing to three or more straight OVERs in a row.

Logan Gilbert has been a bright spot for the Mariners all year and he's in line for another strong outing in my opinion. He'll be opposed by Adam Mazur, who has had a shaky first half, but who won't be lacking motivation.

The overall situation, combined with the numbers/trends though all point to this total staying well UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
