Total: 199.00 | -105.00 Under

This is an 8* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the OVER between the Orlando Magic and the Boston Celtics.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. The home side has to be liking its chances today as it's won 11 of the last 12 in this series. Boston also comes in with some momentum after thumping Philadelphia 105-87 on Monday. Obviously the Magic will be eager to break the slide and to also atone for a pretty lacklustre 95-82 loss to Toronto on Monday; note that Orlando actually held an eight-point lead into the break before scoring just 30 points in the second half: "It's tough, but when teams try to be gritty and tough on us and make a run, we have to stop them," Magic guard Ben Gordon said afterwards. "We can't come in here at halftime relaxed, being happy and cracking jokes and then lay an egg. We make ourselves look bad." So while it's true Orlando ranks near the bottom of the entire league in points scored on the road, there's no question that it catches a break today as Boston is allowing a whopping 105.2 to opponents in front of the home town crowd. Note that Orlando has seen the total go OVER the number in three of four this season after scoring 85 points or less, while Boston has seen it sail above the posted number in eight of 13 home games thus far and in 11 of its last 13 after playing to three or more consecutive "unders." Expect a faster paced game, play on the OVER.
