AAA's POINSETTIA BOWL BLOWOUT (December 23rd!)
(NCAAF) Navy vs. San Diego State,
Point Spread: 3.00 | -110.00 Navy (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* BLOWOUT on Navy.

While I obviously think the outright win isn't out of the question, I will in the end recommend grabbing as many points as you can. SDSU has to be feeling pretty lucky being here, the Aztecs would underperform all year and playing in the Poinsettia Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium is practically a home game for them. Navy doesn't feel lucky though, it feels hungry and the Midshipmen roll into town with the nation's third best rushing attack. Navy won't have forgotten losing to the Aztecs in the 2010 Poinsettia Bowl either. It's a perfect set of motivational conditions which I think the books have vastly underestimated. Besides, San Diego is a Navy town, the Midshipmen will have a ton of support here as well today. Simply put, I have a hard time seeing the Aztecs slowing down versatile Navy QB Keenan Reynolds and the Midshipmen's nation leading 345.1 rushing yards per game. SDSU allows 145.6 rushing yards per game. SDSU will also be looking to establish the run, leaning on sophomore wrecking ball Donnel Pumphrey: ''They are going to run the football, establish the run,'' Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo said. ''So they put you in a bind because he is such a good back. They have physical linemen. But if you go up to stop the run, they really good at throwing the football.'' But the Middies also play hungry on the defensive side of the ball and it's this factor which decides it for me. Look for NAVY to control this one from start to finish and on both sides of the ball.
