AAA's 10* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS (6-0 +$5,600 ALL NBA L8 DAYS!)
(NBA) Toronto vs. Detroit,
Total: 201.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is a 10* EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Toronto Raptors and the Detroit Pistons.

Both teams have been playing to some pretty high-scoring affairs of late, but I feel that the conditions are now finally right for a lower-scoring UNDER. Toronto can wrap up the Atlantic crown with a win over the Pistons tonight and suffice it to say, I think it'll be all hands on deck for the visitors, look for this team to come out aggressively on the defensive end. The Raptors bounced back from a 16-point loss to the Bulls to beat New York 106-89 two later and have in fact won three of four since losing ten of 12. Note though that Toronto will for the a third straight game be without the services of All Star guard Kyle Lowry. Also note that the Raptors have in fact been playing much better defensively, they've held three of their last six opponents to fewer than 100 points after giving up an average of 109.6 over a 1-6 stretch: "It doesn't matter (the opponent), just as long as we are doing the right things defensively," said Toronto coach Dwane Casey last night. "We played with force on the defensive and that that's going to carry over no matter who you play." And a date vs. the Pistons is just what the doctor ordered to keep the momentum rolling, as note that the Raptors have held Detroit to 96.3 points and 42.1 percent shooting during a three-game win streak in the Motor City. Detroit will now almost assuredly miss the post season, but note that it's won three of four since dropping ten in a row. Note that Toronto has seen the total go UNDER the number in 13 of 25 this year after a win by 10 points or more, while Detroit has seen it stay below the posted number in ten of 14 this year off an upset win as an underdog and in 12 of 20 after scoring 105 points or more. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the UNDER as the sharp move in this contest.
