The first four games of this series have gone UNDER the number but I believe that the conditions are now finally right for a higher-scoring shootout. Everyone was quick to count out the Warriors after two straight lacklustre setbacks, but Golden State would finally get its rhythm back on the offensive end and I think that very real momentum gets carried over here. The Grizzlies have a tough task, this is now a best of three series with two games played in Golden State. Memphis was able to rely on its smothering defensive play in Game's 2 and 3, but I think it will be forced into playing at the Warriors pace today and suffice it to say, a faster paced game = more shots and more shots = more points. And note that the Grizzlies have seen the total go OVER the number in seven of eight this year in trying to revenge a home loss vs. an opponent, while Golden State has seen the total sail above the posted number in four of seven this season after allowing 85 points or less. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
