The visitors hand the ball to Colin McHugh (7-3, 5.04 ERA) who struck out eight in a win over the Rockies on Thursday, ultimately going six innings and allowing four hits and three earned runs. There was some room to read between the lines in his victory though as he'd walk five batters; and note that McHugh owns a pretty pedestrian 4.70 ERA in all "night" games this season. The home side counters with CJ Wilson (5-5, 3.39 ERA) who is coming off a fantastic victory vs. the Diamondbacks on Thursday, going eight innings, allowing eight hits and just one earned run while striking out nine. Wilson has to be liking his chances to continue the momentum rolling as he's 3-2 with a 3.38 ERA at home so far this year and 4-3 with a 2.41 ERA in all "night" games. In my opinion, the oddsmakers are way off on this line, Wilson has been getting better as the season has worn on, I think that production gets carried over here, lay the price with the ANGELS.
