AAA's EAST-COAST TOTAL EXPRESS (+$20K NHL RUN CONT!)
(NHL) Boston vs. NY Islanders,
Total: 5.50 | -102.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* TOTAL EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Boston Bruins and the New York Islanders.

We expect this total to fall below the posted number once the final horn blares. The Isles return home on a four-game win streak and got a big boost with the return of Jaroslav Halak in Columbus on Tuesday, making 37 saves in his first start since returning from injury in the 4-0 shutout victory. The Bruins on the other hand have been all over the map with their effort, winning all of their road games, but getting destroyed at home, the normally stalwart Tuukka Rask owns a poor 4.40 GAA and an .854 save percentage while allowing at least three goals in each of his five starts: "I wouldn't call it a struggle," Rask said. "But, then again, you let in five, four goals every game ... can't be pretty happy about that." We believe that Rask can turn things around tonight as the rest of his team plays with added emphasis on the defensive side of the ice: "We're scoring a lot of goals," Boston defenseman Torey Krug said last night. "But it's our defensive foundation that we're trying to get back to, and being stingy and not giving so many scoring chances away. If we clean those areas up, we'll have some good hockey games." And scoring goals, especially with the man advantage is easier said than done vs. the Isles, who haven't given up a power-play marker in three straight games: "Our goaltender is our best penalty killer, but our guys have been structured and have been doing the right things at the right times," coach Jack Capuano told the team's official website. "Faceoffs have been key for us too." Note that Rask is 8-3-0 with a 2.34 GAA in 12 starts vs. the Isles, while Halak is 8-4-0 with a 2.04 GAA in 12 starts vs. the Bruins. We're banking on a classic tightly checked contest and expect this total to sneak UNDER the posted number.
