When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we like the Golden Gophers to find a way to get the job done. Clemson comes in off a 76-58 win over Rutgers on Wednesday, moving to 4-1 on the season, but now faces much stiffer competition. The Golden Gophers played Rutgers in the Big Ten Tournament on March 11th, 2015 and beat it 80-68. Ultimately though we feel that Minnesota will present major matchup issues for the Tigers; and note that Clemson is a poor 9-12 ATS in its last 21 on the road and just 11-12 ATS in its last 23 following a non-conference game, while the Gophers are 3-0 ATS their last three as a home dog of three points or less or a pick and 12-8 ATS in their last 20 after scoring 80 points or more.
