AAA's 10* NBA TOTAL OF MONTH - +$12K NBA RUN!
(NBA) Toronto vs. Miami,
Total: 187.50 | -104.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER between the Toronto Raptors and the Miami Heat.

Both opening games of this series have gone OVER the final total, but only because each has gone to OT. We played the OVER in Game 2 and were saddled with an early unfavorable line and actually lost our bet (some won, some pushed). What's happened to these two teams offenses? Both were a couple of the best in the regular season on the defensive end, but neither has actually played very well in this series, as note that the Heat committed 20 turnovers in Game 1 and 21 in Game 2. Miami though has topped 100 points in 18 of its last 19 home games and suffice it to say, we're finally expecting each of these teams to start scoring in this important Game 3 matchup. So far Toronto's backcourt of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry have struggled mightily in this series, but one Toronto player who has excelled is big man Jonas Valanciunas, who has shot 68 percent in the first two games, averaging 19.5 points and 13 boards: "He's been big," DeRozan confirmed. "You can honestly see who's the dominant big out there when it comes to rebounding and scoring. JV's doing a lot for us. We need him to continue to keep doing it." Note that Toronto has seen the total go OVER the number in four of its last six when tied in a playoff series, while Miami has seen the total sail above the posted number in 14 of its last 19 home games when the total in the contest is set between 185 and 189.5. This number is just a little low, all signs finally point to a more wide open, higher-scoring shootout, play on the OVER.
