The wrong team is favored here. VMI is #2 and #8 in So-Con offense & defense but Western Carolina is #10 and #8.
The VMI Keydets are 5-4 SU/ 7-2 ATS their last 9 games and while they do only have one true road game win, it came last Wednesday as they upset Wofford. VMI did not have a weekend game giving them fresher legs and more prep time for this game tonight. The Catamounts are 1-9 in conference action and the only win came against the next worse team, Citadel, by one point at home. Western Car did have a game on the road Saturday and it was again vs Citadel and they lost by 11.
I believe VMI is the better and fresher team tonight.
