The improved Penguins defense should be able to constantly eliminate a Devils offense that only seems to score on odd-man rushes with Kris Letang and Codi Ceci establishing the blue line in this game. The Penguins should not only win this game but they should cover the spread in a decisive victory.

Pittsburgh is coming off an embarrassing loss at Buffalo as a -280 Fav. The Penguins are 9-2 off a loss their last 11 and they are a perfect 5-0 at home off a SU loss. Pittsburgh is also 16-5 at home but they lost their last home game to rival Philadelphia making them even more motivated. The NJ Devils have lost 6 straight and are 1-10 in their last 11 games with the wins coming at last-place Buffalo.



The Penguins defense has played surprisingly well this season and should be able to eliminate or even shut out the Devils in this game. I look for the Penguins running up the score and the Devils trying to catch up all night.
