Both teams have been playing to some higher-scoring games of late, but we're finally anticipting more of a defensive battle between these Western Conference opponents. Dallas is 7-1-0-1, while Vancouver is 7-2-1-0. Will be an exciting game between Western Conference leaders, but an intesne defensive battle in our estimation. Dallas has seen the total go "over" in three straight after B2B 4-3 road wins at Calgary and Edmonton, but note that the Stars have seen the total go "under" the number in five of their last seven after playing to three or more straight "overs" in a row. After this Dallas returns home for a big game vs. the Bruins, so the visitors will have to be careful to not get caught "looking ahead." Vancouver is off a ridiculous 10-1 win over the Sharks and has has seen the total go "over" the number in three straight now; that's also important to point out here as the Nucks have seen the total go "under" in three of their last four after playing to three or more straight "overs" in a row; it's a great situational play on the "under!"
