Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, including a 10-1 win Vancouver had over San Jose earlier in the season, but all signs finally point to more of a defensive affair here on the West Coast of Canada on Monday in our opinion finally. San Jose broke a three-game slide with a 5-1 win over St. Louis last time out. Note though that the Sharks have seen the total go "under" the number in three of their last four in trying to avenge a home loss vs. an opponent. Vancouver has now dropped two straight, so it'll be eager to get back to its winning ways. It's seen the total go "over" the number in five straight, but note that the Canucks have in fact seen the total go "under" the number in eight of their last 12 after playing to five or more straight "overs" in a row; this number is high, the play is the "under!"
