These teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but all signs point to a a "slug-fest" finally in our opinion in the finale of this three-game series. Seattle has seen the total go "under" in both of its games here vs. the Rays, but note that the Mariners have seen the total eclipse the posted number in eight of their last 11 in trying to avenge a home loss as a -150 or greater favorite vs. an opponent. Tampa's now seen the total go "under" in three straight, which is also significant to note, as the Rays have seen the total go "over" the number in seven of their last ten after playing to three or more straight "unders" in a row. It's just a case of the Rays' Tyler Alexander and the Mariners' Luis Castillo being in the wrong place at the wrong time, as the situation, combined with the numbers/trends all point to this total flying "over" the number sooner, rather than later!
