We like the Penn State Nittany Lions to defeat the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Thursday at 7:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

All the talk is about the ND running-backs. Nobody is talking about PSU's running-backs. You're going to want to remember the names Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton.

Penn State isn't respected too much by anyone in the College Football world. Its a top team in the country and nobody can deny it.

The Nittany Lions have something to prove today. They need this win more than anything.

Notre Dame has looked nearly unbeatable since that shocking loss to NIU earlier in the regular season.

But, this team did lose to that Northern Illinois team. This will be one of the best teams that ND has played all season.

The Irish took down a UGA team that didn't have its QB in the last round. This PSU team is hot and fully healthy.
