Our selection is on the Vancouver Whitecaps to defeat Austin FC on Saturday at 7:30pm ET for a number of reasons. Here are some of the more important ones:

Vancouver is on fire to start the season and we don't see them slowing down.

The Whitecaps are 5-1-1 this season and only lost when the team wasn't at full strength at all.

They were missing both Brian White and Ryan Gauld in that game.

Austin FC is going to try everything it can with its 4-2-1 record.

But, the explosiveness that the attack of the Whitecaps have up front will be too hard for Austin to control in the end.
