AAA's 10* *Nats/Giants* GAME 4 TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(MLB) Washington vs. San Francisco,
Total: 6.50 | 105.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the OVER between the Washington Nationals and the San Francisco Giants.

The first three games of this series have gone UNDER the number, but I feel that the conditions are finally right for a higher scoring affair and that all signs point to the OVER as the sharp wager in this one. Obviously from a situational stand point, nothing has changed for either side; Washington needs to win, or San Francisco advances. Each will be pretty confident here and I expect that to finally translate into some production at the plate. The visitors turn to Gio Gonzalez (10-10, 3.57 ERA) who was pretty good down the stretch in going 4-1 with a 2.36 ERA in his final seven outings. It's important to note though that the southpaw struggled in failing to earn a decision in two starts against St. Louis in the 2012 NLDS, giving up a combined five runs with 11 walks over just 10 innings of work. The home side counters with Ryan Vogelsong (8-13, 4.00 ERA) who would struggle in September, going 0-4 with a ballooned 5.53 ERA. And unfortunately for Vogelsong, a date vs. the Nats is not what the doctor ordered to get untracked, in five career starts vs. them he's gone a poor 1-2 with a horrible 7.94 ERA (note that he gave up a ghastly nine runs off 13 hits over 11 1/3 combined innings in two outings this year). As mentioned off the top, I'm playing the OVER in this one.
