NHL 1
(NHL) Carolina vs. NY Islanders,
Total: 5.50 | -107.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Carolina Hurricanes and the New York Islanders.

I had a 10* play on the Islanders yesterday and they won 5-3; suffice it to say, I expect to see a much more defensive affair this time around and look for the total to stay below the posted number. New York will be hungry but cautious here, it's gunning for its first 2-0 start in seven years. Eight players made team debuts for the Islanders yesterday led by Johnny Boychuk who had one goal and two assists. Note that new goaltender Jaroslav Halak looked sharp; his counterpart today won't be Cam Ward, but rather backup Anton Khudobi who went 19-14-1 with a 2.30 GAA last year (note that Khudobi stopped 38 shots in a 3-2 win in his only appearance on Long Island back on January 4th). A great situational play in my opinion, with yesterday's Season opening game out of the way, I think these teams come in a little flat-footed tonight and believe all signs point to a lower-scoring UNDER.
