AAA's O/U INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS (24-11 +$9,716 Y-T-D NHL!)
(NHL) Montreal vs. Edmonton,
Total: 5.50 | -130.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is an 8* O/U INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS on the OVER between the Montreal Canadiens and the Edmonton Oilers.

When the smoke finally clears at the end of this one, I look for the total to eclipse the number. Both teams come into this contest red hot; Montreal is 7-1 and looks to keep the momentum rolling on the road after winning four straight in front of the home town crowd. After a slow start, Edmonton has really turned things around having won three straight in its own barn. Note, that while Habs goaltender Carey Price has posted a 1.33 GAA and a .959 save percentage in his last three games, he's a poor 1-5-1 with a ballooned 3.71 GAA and .857 save percentage in seven starts vs. the Oilers (and note that all three he's played in Edmonton have ended in regulation losses with 13 goals allowed). And that doesn't bode well for the Montreal goalkeeper as the home side has potted 12 goals in its last three overall, including a 6-3 victory over Carolina on Friday. Edmonton goalie Ben Scrivens has been just adequate so far, he started the season horribly and has since posted a 2.02 GAA and .932 percentage in his last four. Note that Montreal has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 14 after playing to three or more consecutive UNDERS, while Edmonton has seen it sail above the number in 11 of its last 14 after playing three consecutive home games. The situation, the numbers and the trends all point to the OVER as the savvy move in this one.
