The Vancouver Canucks opened the season with a 2-1 shootout triumph over the Calgary Flames last night. The Carolina Hurricanes opened their season with a 5-4 overtime loss at Winnipeg on Thursday, and I think they're in for another tough game tonight. The Hurricanes are 1-10 in the last 11 meetings in Vancouver and 3-13 in the last 16 meetings. Playing on back-to-back nights should not bother the Nucks this early in the season, particularly with both games at home.
