The Indiana Pacers looked good on the ball and shot 50.5 percent from the floor in a season-opening 130-121 OT win against Dallas on Wednesday. The Pacers might very well be a contender in the East this season and they should take care of the Brooklyn Nets with ease tonight.
The Pacers are 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Brooklyn and they'll face a Nets team that opened the season with a 122-117 loss at Boston. It was never quite as close as the scoreline would suggest though as the Celtics headed into the last quarter with a 16-point lead and just slowed down after that.
New coach Kenny Atkinson is trying to get the Nets to play at a higher tempo with more shooting from behind the arc. I'm not sure if that's a winning recipe for a poor team like Brooklyn, and this looks like a spread Indiana should cover without much trouble.
