Play: Florida Gators
Rating: 8*
The Florida Gators will take on the Georgia Bulldogs in a SEC East Division clash in Jacksonville Saturday afternoon. The Gators have won the last two meetings by an average of 21 points, and I expect another blowout win for the Gators today. Both teams have had plenty of time to prepare for this game since neither have played since October 15, but while the Gators are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games following a bye week the Bulldogs are 3-12-1 ATS in their last 16 games following a bye week.
Georgia has lost three of its last four games and fell 17-16 against Vanderbilt at home as a 14-point favorite its last game. Florida meanwhile has plenty of momentum and coming off a 40-14 win against Missouri its last game, despite QB Luke Del Rio throwing three INTs and the offense recording eight false-start penalties. Florida is extremely stingy on the defensive side of the ball and has given up just 12 points per game on the season. I don't see Georgia scoring many points here, and I fully expect the Gators to win by double digits.
