Thursday Night Football
Play: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rating: 8*
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host NFC South rivals Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night football, and I think we're getting too many points on the home team here to pass up on.
The Bucs won 31-24 at Atlanta in the season opener on Sept. 11 as Jameis Winston tossed four touchdown passes, and they're 3-1-1 ATS in the last five meetings at Raymond James Stadium. Atlanta sits top of the division with a 5-3 record, but the Bucs are right on its heels with a 3-4 record. Needless to say, this is a massive matchup for both teams.
Atlanta is coming off a 33-32 victory over Green Bay as Matt Ryan continued his stellar season with three touchdown passes, but the team failed to cover the spread in the victory and is 2-10 ATS in its last 12 games following a ATS loss. The Bucs are coming off a tough 30-24 OT loss to Oakland, a game they probably should have won in all fairness.
Buccaneers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 vs. NFC South, Falcons are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 division games. Let's go with the Bucs.
