The No. 17 Oklahoma State Cowboys host the Texas Tech Red Raiders at Boone Pickens Stadium Saturday afternoon, and I like the Cowboys in this matchup.
Texas Tech has lost four of its last five games as its powerful offense has failed to quite make up for its horrific D. The Red Raiders are allowing 41.8 points per game as they rank 124th nationally in scoring defense and 126th in total defense giving up 533.9 yards per game.
The Cowboys are riding a five-game winning streak, and they've covered the spread in each of the last three. OSU is scoring 40.9 points per game while allowing 27.7, and the team leads the Big 12 in turnover margin at +8. They've scored at least 20 points in 25 straight games, so I'm not at all concerned whether the Cowboys can match the Red Raiders offensive output, and considering their superior D and long time dominance in the series I think this is an easy play on OSU.
Oklahoma State has won seven in a row against Texas Tech (6-1 ATS) and the past six by double digits. Go Cowboys!
