(NCAAB) Holy Cross vs. South Carolina,
Point Spread: -13.00 | -106.00 South Carolina (Home)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -13.00 | -106.00 South Carolina (Home)
Result: Win
Play: South Carolina
Rating: 8*
The South Carolina Gamecocks will host the Holy Cross Crusaders Sunday night, and my money is on the home team to win and cover the spread.
Holy Cross finished last season strong and can return four starters from the team that managed to win the Patriot League Championship as the 9-seed. The Crusaders are easily outmatched when facing teams from the stronger conferences though, and while this will be the their first game of the season the Gamecocks have one game under their belt already as they defeated Louisiana Tech 85-76 on Friday. South Carolina has lost some pieces from last year's team, but the most important player is still there in Sindarius Thornwell who scored 18 points with seven boards and six assists in the season opener.
The Gamecocks are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 non-conference games, and I think they'll roll over Holy Cross with ease tonight.
