The LA Lakers have had a terrific start to the season by their standards, but they've dropped three of their last four games while going 0-3-1 ATS, the two most recent defeats to Chicago and San Antonio. I think it will be tough to turn it around here against the talented Oklahoma City Thunder.
OKC had won back-to-back games prior to a 115-111 OT loss to Indiana, and they'll be looking to open a three-game road trip on a positive note. They're 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Lakers who have point guard D'Angelo Russell listed as questionable due to a sore left knee, and he didn't participate in Monday's practice.
LAL has an interesting team, and I can see them beating up on the lesser teams in the NBA. The Thunder are not in that category, and we can note that the Thunder defeated the Lakers by a 113-96 score home in Oklahoma City in late October.
