Play: San Diego Chargers
Rating: 8*
The San Diego Chargers suffered a 31-24 home loss to Miami on Nov. 13, and they've had plenty of time to mull it over during a bye week. They're 9-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a straight up loss and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games. I like them here at Houston Texans who are playing on a short week following a 27-20 loss to AFC West-leading Oakland in Mexico City. The Texans were pretty much robbed of the win by the referees, and it must be pretty demoralizing losing the way they did.
Defensive advantage for Houston, but I would take Philip Rivers over Brock Osweiler under center every day of the week. I think San Diego deserves a better record than their 4-6 mark while the opposite is true of the 6-4 Texans. The Chargers are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings, and I expect them to cover another spread here.
