Great spot to back the Cleveland Cavaliers here IMO. The LA Clippers opened a six-game road trip with a win at Washington, but they've since lost at Detroit Indiana and most recenly a 127-122 OT setback at Brooklyn as a 10.5-point favorite. Note that the Clippers are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a straight up loss and just 1-7 ATS in their last eight games overall. They also don't seem to take Eastern Conference foes that serious going 0-5 ATS in their last five vs. the East.
The Cleveland Cavaliers had won four straight prior to a 118-101 loss at Milwaukee on Tuesday, arguably their worst game of the season. Here we can note that the Cavs are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a straight up loss and 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. They seem to take teams from the opposite conference more serious than the Clippers going 5-1 ATS in their last six vs. Western Conference.
The Cavaliers won the past four meetings by an average of 13.3 points and the Clippers are 2-12 ATS in the last 14 meetings in Cleveland. Let's go with a BIG wager on Cleveland.
