No shame in that result at all, and they've now covered the spread in six consecutive games. Tampa Bay is one game behind first-place Atlanta in the NFC South, and a win here is crucial for its playoff aspirations.
New Orleans still has an outside shot at the postseason but could be eliminated already if either the Redskins or the Packers win earlier in the day. The Saints are coming off a 48-41 win at Arizona, but the team has won just two of its last six games. The Saints lost 16-11 at Tampa Bay in Week 14, and the Buccaneers are 4-1 ATS in their last five meetings.
New Orleans has a fearsome offense, but the Saints struggle on the defensive side of the ball ranking 30th in scoring defense and 26th in total defense. The Bucs are always hard to beat thanks to their solid D, and I like the Bucs to cover the spread and threaten to win outright at Mercedes-Benz Superdome Saturday afternoon.
