Play: New England Patriots
Rating: 10/10*
The Pittsburgh Steelers are 7-1-1 ATS in their last nine games overall, but I think they'll come up short against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. New England beat Pittsburgh 27-16 at Heinz Field back in Week 7, and the Pats are 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings.
The Patriots defense was phenomenal against the Texans in the Divisional Round, allowing just 285 yards while making three interceptions. Pittsburgh's QB Ben Roethlisberger is of course far better than Brock Osweiler, but he's banged up and has not been able to put up big numbers here in the playoffs. The Pats have held opponents to an average of only 88.6 rushing yards per game on the season so I think they'll be able to contain the red hot Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell. Advantage New England on both sides of the ball, and on the sideline in Bill Belichick vs. Mike Tomlin. Lay the points.
