I like the Texas Rangers in a late matchup with the Tampa Bay Rays Monday night.

Texas hands the ball to Martin Perez (2-5, 3.77 ERA) who has pitched better than his record would indicate. Perez has a 3.16 ERA in four starts this month and the Rangers are 14-6 in Perez's last 20 home starts while the Rays are 2-6 in their last eight games vs. a left-handed starter. Erasmo Ramirez (3-0, 2.92 ERA) takes the ball for Tampa Bay, and he's 0-1 with a 5.72 ERA in 11 career appearances (four starts) against Texas.

This will be Texas' first home game since May 18 and the Rangers are 5-0 in their last five home games following a road trip of seven or more days.
