The Cleveland Indians took an 11-3 beating here at Coors Field on Tuesday.
I like them to come back and win Wednesday's contest with Trevor Bauer (5-4, 5.83 ERA) on the mound. The Tribe have won four of Bauer's last five starts and he'll be well rested after getting his last start cut short due to a rain delay. Bauer is 2-0 with a 3.21 ERA in three day starts on the season.
The Colorado Rockies turn to Kyle Freeland (6-3, 3.53 ERA) who has a decent ERA and a nice record on the season, but I think he's overrated by the books now due to regress. Note that Freeland has a 39/28 strikeout to walk ratio in 63 2/3 innings while Cleveland's Bauer has a solid 73/20 ratio through 58 2/3 innings.
All Freeland's free passes and lack of strikeouts will catch up with him sooner or later, and I think the Indians will be zoned in here after yesterday's loss.
