Play: Arizona Diamondbacks
Rating: 10/10*
The Arizona Diamondbacks have the best home record in the majors and I like them to improve to 25-8 home at Chase Field with a win against the Milwaukee Brewers Friday night.
Randall Delgado (1-1, 3.24 ERA) takes the ball for the D'Backs. He's posted a 1.80 ERA in his three starts since joining the rotation in place of right-hander Taijuan Walker, giving up 14 hits with 15 strikeouts in 15 innings. He should also get plenty of run support as Arizona is averaging 6.47 runs per game home at Chase Field. Bad news for the Brewers' Zach Davies (6-3, 4.69 ERA) who has pitched better lately following a disastrous start to the season. He gave up three runs on seven this and two walks with a pair of homers in a 4-0 home loss to Arizona on May 25.
Davies is coming off six scoreless innings against the Dodgers but Milwaukee is 2-5 in Davies' last seven starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance.
