The Miami Marlins are red hot and I like the price we get on the Fish with Dan Straily (4-4, 3.59 ERA) on the mound here in the series finale against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Straily has had his struggles on the road this season, but he held the Cubs to three runs on six hits in seven innings at Wrigley his last time out, and we can note that he has a 1.18 WHIP through 28 innings of work away from home. Overall, Straily boasts a solid 69/25 K/BB ratio and a terrific 1.09 WHIP on the season.
The Pirates turn to Trevor Williams who has allowed just two runs on 11 hits in 13 innings of work against the Mets and the D'Backs through his last two starts. This will however be a tough test for the 25 year old, and I think the Marlins will do a lot of damage at the expense of the right-hander.
The Marlins are 9-2 in the last 11 meetings as they for the sweep of this three-game set.
