Money Line: -151.00 Boston (Home)
Result: Loss
Money Line: -151.00 Boston (Home)
Result: Loss
Play: Boston Red Sox
Rating: 8/10*
It's a lot of juice to lay, but I think the Boston Red Sox will prove well worth the money when they host the Detroit Tigers Sunday night. Note that Boston has won seven of its last eight at Fenway Park and is a solid 19-10 at home on the season while the Tigers are 13-20 on the road.
Left-hander Drew Pomeranz (6-3, 4.02 ERA) takes the ball for Boston. He's allowed just a total of seven runs through his last five starts and struck out a total of 25 through 18 innings in his last three outings. The Tigers turn to Daniel Norris (2-4, 4.48 ERA) who is winless in his last three starts. He surrendered four runs (three earned) with a pair of homers through six innings of a 5-3 loss against the Angles his last time out.
