Late Night MLB *MONEYLINE MASSACRE*
(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. Pittsburgh,
Money Line: 115.00 Pittsburgh (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: 115.00 Pittsburgh (Home)
Result: Win
Play: Pittsburgh Pirates
Rating: 8/10*
The Chicago Cubs picked up a 9-5 win in the series opener on Friday, but I like the Pittsburgh Pirates to tie the series Saturday night with Ivan Nova (6-4, 2.83 ERA) on the mound.
Nova tossed six scoreless innings of one-hit ball (no walks) in six innings of a 3-1 win against Miami his last turn, and he's 4-2 with a 2.29 ERA in six starts home at PNC Park on the season. The Cubs are 2-8 in their last 10 road games vs. a right-handed starter. Jake Arrieta (6-4, 4.68 ERA) takes the ball for Chicago. He has pitched to an 8.61 ERA in the last four meetings with Pittsburgh.
Great price on the Pirates to bounce back with a win here.
