The Tigers turn to 28 year old left-hander Chad Bell (0-1, 5.48 ERA) who will make his first career start. He has made 19 appearances out of the bullpen on the season without much success and was charged with three runs (two earned) on five hits and a pair of walks in four innings against the Yankees on Aug 23 his last time out. I don't expect him to go deep into the game, and then the Tigers will be forced to hand the ball over to the worst bullpen in baseball on the season (5.22 ERA).

The Indians are 14-2 in their last 16 road games. The Tigers are 1-5 in their last six home games. The Indians are 7-1 in the last eight meetings.
