The Tampa Bay Rays are going for the sweep when they host the Minnesota Twins for the finale of this three-game series Wednesday afternoon.

He has allowed just two earned runs in 20 2/3 innings in his last three starts combined and we can note that the Twins are 2-8 in their last 10 road games vs. a left-handed starter.

Aaron Slegers (0-0, 2.84 ERA) will take the ball for Minnesota. The 25 year old rookie will make his mere second appearance in the big leagues, and even though he impressed in his debut against Cleveland (6 1/3 IP, 2 hits, 2 runs) I think he's in for a tougher game today.

Tampa Bay is playing its best baseball at the right time, having won 10 of its past 15 games to remain in contention for a Wild Card in the American League.
