The Iowa Hawkeyes opened the season with a 24-3 win as a 12-point favorite against Wyoming in Week 1 while the Iowa State Cyclones defeated Northern Iowa 42-24 as a 10-point favorite.

Iowa won last season's meeting 42-3, and I think the Hawkeyes will cruise to another easy victory against its in-state rival on Saturday.

Hawkeyes' RB Akrum Wadley rushed for 116 yards on 24 carries last week, and as the Iowa State's strength in D is on the perimeter I think he'll have plenty of success here as well. Note that the Cyclones gave up 119 rushing yards on just 22 rushes for an average of 5.4 yards per carry against Northern Iowa.

The Cyclones are improved from last season, but Iowa is still better on both sides of the ball and should cover the spread.
