The Detroit Pistons will be looking to close out a three-game California road trip with a perfect record when they visit the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night. They're coming off a pair of massive 8-point victories against LA Clippers and Golden State as huge underdogs, 8.5 and 14 points respectively, and I think they might feel a little bit too good about themselves to put full focus on this game.

The LA Lakers have lost back-to-back games against Toronto and Utah, failing to cover the spread both times. They're however 6-2 ATS in their last eight games playing on two days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss.

As a bonus we can note the Lakers are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings with the Pistons home at Staples Center. I fully expect the Lakers to battle hard here and this is a prime spot to fade the Pistons.
