The Carolina Panthers had won three straight games before entering their bye week. I think they'll pick up right where they left off when they visit the New York Jets Sunday afternoon. The Jets are also coming off their bye but they've dropped four of their last five and they managed just 15 first downs in a 15-10 loss at Tampa Bay their last time out.

Carolina QB Cam Newton is coming off his best game of the season as he threw for 254 yards and four touchdowns while adding 95 yards on five carries in a 45-21 win over the Miami Dolphins his last time out. More good news for the Panthers is that tight end Greg Olsen, out since Week 2 because of a broken foot, is expected to be activated from injured reserve.
