The Detroit Red Wings suffered an embarrassing 10-1 road loss at the hands of the Canadiens on Saturday, their seventh straight defeat. Sure, the Red Wings won't keep losing forever, but I don't think they can compete with the white hot Winnipeg Jets right now.

The Jets are 9-2-1 in their last 12 outings and shut out the Senators in a dominant 5-0 triumph on Sunday. "It's incredible the way we're clicking right now and the confidence in this room. It's fun to watch," Winnipeg goalie Connor Hellebuyck told reporters after the game.

Jets are 5-0 in their last five vs. a team with a losing record and 20-6 in their last 26 games playing on one days rest. Road team is 5-2 in the last seven encounters between Winnipeg and Detroit.
