Both teams will be playing on short rest and off a loss, as the Nashville Predators lost 4-3 to the Rangers yesterday while the Buffalo Sabres took a 6-2 loss in Carolina.

The Preds have won six in a row before suffering back-to-back losses, but most of their success has come on home ice. I think their slide will continue here as they've been playing over their heads while the Sabres, IMO, are better than their recent performances would suggest.
