This looks like a good spot to back the San Diego Padres to bounce back from back-to-back shutout losses. I would be shocked if they can't get their bats going here against Cincinnati right-hander Nick Martinez, who while he has been working out of the bullpen lately, is 0-2 with an ERA of 6.86 in four starts this season.

The Padres hand the ball to Michael King (3-4, 4.31 ERA) who has posted a 2.95 ERA in his last three starts. He had tossed 13 scoreless innings in two May starts before allowing six runs in 5 1/3 innings against Colorado his last time out. King has struggled in his day starts, but he has posted an ERA of 3.09 through 32 innings under the lights.
