I like the price we get on the New York Yankees in the opener of this three-game Subway Series. Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (0-0. 4.50 ERA) has been heating up since a slow start to the year, while Mets left-hander David Peterson (3-0, 3.97 ERA) is just getting his season started (this will be his fifth start in 2024)

Cole's career numbers against the Mets are not all that impressive (2-2, 5.89 ERA, seven games), but still better than Peterson bloated 10.38 ERA in two career outings (one start) against the Yankees.
