Two slumping teams will be looking to end prolonged losing streaks as the Vancouver Canucks are hosting the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena tonight. Neither team have been able to find the net very often over recent games and I expect a low-scoring scuffle here with the two teams sitting only two points apart in the Pacific Division.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Misfiring Offenses - The Flames have mustered only 11 goals over their seven game slide with three of the goals coming on the power play. The Canucks have been equally woeful finding the net a total of seven times over five straight losses and were shutout by Kari Lehtonen and the Stars their last game. They've been held goal-less over 18 consecutive chances on the power play.

2. Trends - Seven of the Flames last eight on the road have gone under the total and so have all of of their last four versus a team with a winning record as well.

3. X-Factor - The Canucks top-line, Henrik and Daniel + Radim Vrbata, has been held without a point over three straight games.
